Last fall, I began to look at various venues in the Charleston area for my son's rehearsal dinner in June, 2009. I personally visited several places and went online to look at several more. None of them really seemed to "fit the bill". As all participants in the wedding and all of the guests were from out-of-town because of our "desintation wedding", I really wanted to give them a taste of Charleston. That is when the idea of a Charleson Harbor dinner cruise popped into my head. Well, it was one of the best ideas I have ever had!!! The dinner cruise on June 5th for 50+ people was amazing. The food was as good as anything I have eaten in the last 40 years that I have been coming to Charleston; our wait staff was wonderful; the boat itself was beautifully appointed; the Charleston Harbor at sunset and in the early evening was beyond spectacular. Everyone on the cruise (even my 90 year old mother-in-law who hates boats) loved every minute of the evening. I was afraid for a minute that it was going to outshine the wedding the next day. Thank you for everything. Everyone at SpiritLine, especially you, were so gracious and helpful. It made my job very easy. I will gladly recommend this experience to anyone and would love to come for my own dinner cruise in the future.

Teresa and I would like to take another moment to thank-you and the SpiritLine Cruises staff for a job well done with Heather and Matt’s wedding reception on September 26th.
Since the wedding we have had countless comments from our family and friends how beautiful and unique the experience was for a wedding reception. Teresa and I have reminisced since the reception how much fun we had with the exception that time flew by and it seems we were there for less than an hour. We wish we could relive it again! From the time we were walking up to get on the boat with the lights and everything we just said WOW! Then when we boarded and saw the presentation of the food, décor, friendly staff and layout we were very impressed!
We would also like to personally thank-you for answering so many questions over the phone when we were 2.5 hours away, and taking time out of your busy schedule to show us the boat. Your hard work and dedication to detail made the reception a remarkable and memorable event we will never forget.
We would highly recommend anyone to use the “Spirit of the Lowcountry” for a wedding reception.

Thank you so much for the fantastic Harbor Cruise Reception for Jennifer’s wedding. When Tim, the cruise director, showed me the lower deck, it took my breath away. It was so elegant and beautiful; it was just stunning! Everything was just beyond my expectations.
Throughout the evening, I had many guests tell me how awesome this wedding reception was. I even heard one person say it was a fairy tale!
